Hi everyone, where y’at?  In the Big Easy, this means “how are you?”  These days, a person living in New Orleans, whether a native or an adoptee, has come to be known as a Y’At, so I guess that means me.  I got here about six weeks ago, and I absolutely love it!  In upcoming blogs, I’m gonna introduce you to the Big Easy as I experience it, and as I become a Y’At.  From food, locations, and jazz and even the Mighty Mississippi River, I’m gonna cover it all.
